In short: FYAdvisers builds custom software, workflow automation and AI integration for Singapore SMEs without in-house developers, and maintains it afterwards. It is not a managed IT provider: no helpdesk, laptop setup, office networks or on-site support, so keep one for devices if that is your main need.
FYAdvisers is a technology consultancy based in Singapore. We work with small and mid-sized businesses that have outgrown spreadsheets, chat threads and manual copying between tools, but do not have an in-house development team. We help you work out what to change, then we build it, connect it to the software you already use, and look after it afterwards.
Our flagship service is signal-based lead generation. The IT consultancy work described on this page uses the same skills: we are developers first, and every engagement ends with working software rather than a slide deck.
What we do
Custom software development
When off-the-shelf software does not fit the way your business works, we build a focused application that does. Typical examples are quotation tools, internal workspaces, client portals and admin dashboards. Read more about custom software development.
Workflow automation
Many businesses lose hours each week to the steps between tools: copying form submissions into a sheet, chasing approvals, preparing the same document again. We automate those steps and agree where a person checks the work. Read more about workflow automation.
AI integration
We add AI where it actually helps, such as reading free-text enquiries, extracting details from documents or preparing first drafts, and keep a person in charge of anything that reaches a customer. Read more about AI integration.
Website and app maintenance
Software needs looking after once it is live. We keep websites and web apps updated, monitored and backed up, and make small improvements as your needs change. Read more about website and app maintenance.
What we do not do
We are not a managed IT services provider. We do not run helpdesks, set up laptops, manage office networks or servers, or provide on-site support. If your main need is keeping staff devices and infrastructure running, a managed IT provider will serve you better. Our page on IT consultants vs managed IT services explains how to tell which you need, and some businesses use both.
Work we have built
These customer stories describe what we built and how the teams use it.
- V On Construction. A digital quotation workspace that replaced pen and paper, with PDF export, shareable quotes and change orders.
- Chromatic Media. A tender preparation workflow that produces a compliance matrix and proposal drafts from uploaded files, which the team reviews before submitting.
- A PropNex agent. A workspace that brings WhatsApp conversations, deal details and an AI assistant together, with reply drafts the agent reviews and sends.
- Jeff Learning Center. An enquiry form that uses AI to match each student to a suitable course and notifies the owner straight away.
How an engagement runs
- Understand the work. We look at how your team does the task today, which tools are involved and where it gets stuck. You do not need a specification.
- Recommend build, buy or connect. Often the right answer is an existing product or a connection between two tools you already pay for. We only suggest custom software when it is clearly worth it.
- Build in small steps. We start with one workflow or one part of the system, test it with your real data, and agree where people review the output.
- Hand over and support. You get documentation and a clear owner on your side. We can stay on for maintenance and improvements, or hand over fully.
Where people stay in control
These are design choices we make on every project.
- Drafts, not sends. Anything that reaches a customer, such as a reply, quotation or proposal, is prepared for a person to review.
- Rules before AI. If a task is predictable, plain rules are easier to test and explain. AI is used where the input varies too much for rules.
- Data handled deliberately. We agree what data a system collects, who sees it and where it is stored. PDPC’s overview of the data protection obligations is a good starting point if you are unsure what applies.
- No lock-in by default. We build on common tools and document what we build, so another developer can pick it up.
Who this suits
- small and mid-sized businesses with no in-house developers
- teams running key work through spreadsheets, email and messaging apps
- owners who want one person to explain the options plainly and then build the chosen one
- businesses that already have an IT support provider for devices and networks, and need help with the software side
If you are still comparing firms, our guide on how to choose an IT consultancy lists the questions worth asking, and our list of IT consultancies in Singapore groups providers by type. We also compare software development companies, AI and automation agencies and website maintenance companies.
What to prepare before we talk
- The task or system causing the most trouble, in a few sentences.
- The tools your team uses for it today.
- Who does the work and roughly how often.
- Any examples, with personal details removed.

Frequently asked questions
What does an IT consultancy do?
An IT consultancy helps a business decide which technology to use and how to put it in place. Depending on the firm, that can mean advising on systems, building custom software, connecting tools, adding AI, or running day-to-day IT support. FYAdvisers focuses on building and improving the software your business runs on.
Do you provide IT support or managed IT services?
No. We do not run helpdesks, manage laptops, networks or servers, or provide on-site support. If that is what you need, a managed IT services provider is the better fit. Our comparison of IT consultants and managed IT services explains the difference.
How much does an IT consultancy cost in Singapore?
It depends on the scope, the tools involved and the support you need afterwards. FYAdvisers outlines the proposed work and pricing after an initial conversation, before you commit to anything.
Do you only work with Singapore companies?
We are based in Singapore and most of our clients are here, but the work is done remotely, so we can work with teams elsewhere.
Can you work with the software we already use?
Usually, yes. We start by reviewing what your current tools support, such as integrations and APIs, and only recommend new software when the existing tools cannot do the job.
