The challenge: preparing quotations by hand
Before the project, V On Construction prepared quotations using pen and paper. The project focused on moving that work into a digital quotation workflow.
The practical objective was getting quotations out to customers, with the details available for the team to review.
The solution: a quotation workspace built around the work
Launched in February 2026, the workspace gives the team an editable workspace for quotation preparation. The implementation brings sections, line items, quantities, pricing and terms into the document.
FYAdvisers also built PDF export, shareable quote links and change-order functionality. These support producing customer-facing documents and managing revisions; the confirmed live use is quotation preparation.
The outcome: getting quotations out to customers
V On Construction uses the workspace to prepare quotations, replacing its previous pen-and-paper process. FYAdvisers identifies getting quotations out to customers as the practical outcome of the project.
The team remains responsible for reviewing the scope, quantities, pricing and terms before a quotation goes out. No numerical time saving or increase in quote volume is claimed.
