How the planner works
Budget. For each recipient group, the planner multiplies the number of recipients by the spend per head. It then adds packing and delivery per recipient, if you enter it, and adds GST at 9% unless you say your figures already include it. The GST rate is the current rate stated by IRAS.
Order-by date. The planner counts back from the date gifts must arrive. It first subtracts the supplier lead time, then the working days you allow for quotes and proof approval. Working days skip Saturdays, Sundays and the Singapore public holidays MOM lists for 2026 and 2027 that fall on a weekday, including the substitute holidays on 9 November 2026 and 8 February 2027. The result is the latest date to approve artwork and place the order.
Lead times used
Choosing a customisation type fills in a lead time you can change. These are figures suppliers publish on their own websites, checked in October 2026:
- Printed or branded logo: 30 working days. The Gift Empire gives a standard lead time of about 30 working days from artwork approval for most custom items, covering production and delivery within Singapore. Patch&Bagel advises allowing at least 3 weeks for embroidered or printed items.
- Bespoke design: 10 weeks. Batik Boutique publishes a lead time of 8 to 10 weeks for bespoke designs. The planner uses the upper end.
- No customisation: 10 working days. We did not find a published lead time for ready-made gifts, so this is a placeholder. Replace it with your supplier's figure.
Suppliers get busy before Christmas and Chinese New Year, and their own last order dates may be earlier than this planner shows. Ask each one.
Minimum order quantities
The planner warns you when your numbers look small for the customisation you chose:
- Bespoke: Batik Boutique publishes a 500-unit minimum for bespoke designs. If your total is below 500, a ready-made gift with branding is often the realistic choice.
- Printed or branded: The Gift Empire says its MOQ starts from 50 units for most customised gifts. Patch&Bagel lists minimums from 20 pieces for items such as patches and acrylic keychains.
Minimums usually apply per item and design. If each recipient group gets a different gift, each item has to meet its own minimum.
What changes the budget
- Quantity. Unit prices usually fall as quantity rises. The Gift Empire, for example, says orders of 500 units and above receive volume pricing.
- Branding method. Embroidery and engraving generally take longer to set up than screen printing, according to The Gift Empire.
- Packing and delivery. Individual packing, cards and delivery to many addresses are often charged separately.
- Who receives gifts. Some recipients, such as public officers, are bound by gift rules, so check before sending to government contacts. See our corporate gifts guide for more on gift rules.

Finding a supplier
Send suppliers your recipient numbers, spend per head, customisation and arrival date, and ask each for the MOQ and last order date for the exact item. Compare corporate gift suppliers or read our guide to the best corporate gift suppliers in Singapore.
Frequently asked questions
How much should a company budget for corporate gifts in Singapore?
There is no standard figure. Most companies set a spend per head for each group of recipients, such as key clients, staff and partners, then add packing, delivery and GST. This planner multiplies those figures out so you can see the total and adjust it before you ask suppliers for quotes.
How early should I order corporate gifts?
It depends on the customisation. One Singapore supplier, The Gift Empire, gives a standard lead time of about 30 working days from artwork approval for most custom items. Batik Boutique publishes 8 to 10 weeks for bespoke designs. Add time for quotes and proofs on top, and ask each supplier for its last order date before festive periods.
What minimum order quantity should I expect?
It varies by supplier and item. The Gift Empire says its MOQ starts from 50 units for most customised corporate gifts. Batik Boutique publishes a 500-unit minimum for bespoke designs. Patch&Bagel lists minimums from 20 pieces for some small items. Ask for the MOQ of the exact item and branding method you want.
When is Chinese New Year 2027?
MOM lists Chinese New Year 2027 as Saturday 6 February and Sunday 7 February, with Monday 8 February as the substitute holiday for employees whose rest day falls on the Sunday. If gifts should arrive a week before, aim for delivery by Friday 29 January 2027.
Should the budget include GST?
Check whether each supplier's prices include GST. Tick or untick "My spend per head already includes GST" so the planner adds 9% only where needed.
