> The Productivity Solutions Grant has closed to new applications. If you want help paying for a CRM, the route now is the EDGE Grant's Customer Relationship Management activity, with vendors and packages listed on SMEs Go Digital.

The Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) no longer takes new applications. Enterprise Singapore's [EDGE Grant FAQ](https://www.enterprisesg.gov.sg/resources/all-faqs/edge-grant) states that "After 30 September 2026, no new application will be accepted" under PSG, EDG or MRA, and EDGE launched on 30 September 2026. For CRM software, the replacement is the EDGE Grant's [Customer Relationship Management activity](https://www.enterprisesg.gov.sg/financial-support/edge-grant/automation-and-digitalisation/single-function-solutions/customer-relationship-management). It offers up to 50% support for SMEs on a cost capped at S$5,000, using a vendor and package listed on IMDA's [SMEs Go Digital](https://smesgodigital.gov.sg) platform.

If you applied for PSG before the cut-off, your application continues to be assessed, and ongoing PSG projects are supported until completion and claim disbursement. Everything new goes through EDGE.

## How EDGE supports CRM software

Enterprise Singapore treats CRM as a single-function digital solution. Its activity page describes it as a platform "for tracking sales leads, managing sales targets, and generating detailed performance analytics." The figures listed on 13 October 2026 are:

- **Support level:** up to 50% for SMEs and up to 30% for non-SMEs.
- **Cost cap:** S$5,000, which means a grant of up to S$2,500 for an SME or S$1,500 for a non-SME.
- **Supported costs:** software costs, capped at 12 months. GST and maintenance costs are not supported.
- **Project period:** the project must be completed within 18 months of approval.
- **Sub-cap and annual cap:** single-function digital solutions, integrated enterprise systems and pre-scoped equipment share a sub-cap of S$30,000, within EDGE's overall cap of S$100,000 per company per year. The year runs from 1 April to 31 March.

The EDGE FAQ also says applications for selected single-function digital solutions are limited to one per UEN, and the activity page excludes companies that have previously applied for grant support for the same solution.

### When a different activity fits better

A plain CRM is not always what a business needs. EDGE lists related activities with their own caps:

- **[Sales Management](https://www.enterprisesg.gov.sg/financial-support/edge-grant/automation-and-digitalisation/single-function-solutions/sales-management)** for wholesale trade, covering customer records, sales orders, product catalogues and pricing, with a cost cap of S$35,000.
- **[Accounting and Sales Management](https://www.enterprisesg.gov.sg/financial-support/edge-grant/automation-and-digitalisation/single-function-solutions/accounting-and-sales-management)**, combining the general ledger with quotations and invoices, with a cost cap of S$5,000.
- **[Integrated ERP](https://www.enterprisesg.gov.sg/financial-support/edge-grant/automation-and-digitalisation/integrated-enterprise-systems/integrated-enterprise-resource-planning)**, which must include at least three functions, one of which can be Sales and Customer Relationship Management, with a cost cap of S$60,000.

Pick the activity that matches what you are buying, not the one with the largest cap.

## How to check whether a CRM package qualifies

Do not rely on a vendor's website badge or a sales email. Check the source:

1. Open the CRM category on [SMEs Go Digital](https://smesgodigital.gov.sg) and look for the vendor and the exact package.
2. Note what the package includes, such as the number of licences, implementation hours and training.
3. Ask the vendor to quote that package so the quotation and the listed package match.
4. Confirm your company meets the eligibility rules on the activity page: registered and operating in Singapore, and at least 30% owned by Singaporeans or Singapore PRs, determined by ultimate individual ownership.

Questions worth asking any CRM vendor before you apply:

- Which SMEs Go Digital package does this quotation correspond to?
- What happens to the price after the first 12 months, which the grant does not cover?
- What is the unique identifier, such as a licence number or user ID, that we will photograph for the claim?
- Can we export all our data if we stop using the product?

## What to look for in CRM software

The grant covers a share of the cost. Whether the CRM is any use depends on fit. For a B2B SME, check that it links several contacts to one company, handles quotations and revisions, keeps reminders on long sales cycles, and connects to your email, WhatsApp and accounting software. Our guide on [how to choose a CRM for a B2B SME](/blog/how-to-choose-a-crm-for-b2b-sme/) covers this in more detail.

Some well-known products, based on their own websites in October 2026:

- **HubSpot** offers a free CRM which it describes as free with no expiration date, supporting up to two users and 1,000 contacts, with paid tiers above it.
- **Zoho CRM** lists a Free edition for up to three users, then Standard, Professional, Enterprise and Ultimate editions.

These examples are not a statement about grant status. Check SMEs Go Digital for which vendors and packages are listed.

## How to apply, step by step

Enterprise Singapore's activity page sets out the process:

1. **Prepare documents.** For CRM, you need a vendor quotation and a projection of expected cost savings for one year after the project.
2. **Choose a vendor and solution** from the pre-approved list on SMEs Go Digital.
3. **Get a vendor quotation** for the package you have chosen.
4. **Build your solution package** on SMEs Go Digital, adjusting licences and services so it matches the quotation exactly.
5. **Confirm the package** by signing in with your company's Corppass to generate a package reference ID.
6. **Apply on the Business Grants Portal** through the "Apply now" link on the activity page, using that reference ID. Staff need the BGP Preparer and BGP Acceptor Corppass roles.
7. **Accept the Letter of Offer** if approved, then complete the project.
8. **Claim** once deliverables are met and expenses are paid in full, submitting a photo of the deployed software with its unique identifier. The FAQ says claims for digital solutions open from 1 November 2026.

## Common mistakes

- **Paying a deposit before applying.** EDGE does not support retrospective applications. You must not have started work or made any payment or deposit before you submit.
- **Mismatched quotation and package.** The package built on SMEs Go Digital should match the vendor's quotation exactly.
- **Assuming PSG rules still apply.** Caps and conditions are set per EDGE activity. Read the current activity page.
- **Letting the vendor run the application.** Third parties are not permitted to apply for or manage the grant for you.
- **Forgetting the second year.** Only 12 months of software costs are supported, so budget for the renewal.

## Frequently asked questions

### Can I still apply for the PSG grant for a CRM?

No. Enterprise Singapore says no new PSG applications are accepted after 30 September 2026. Applications already submitted continue to be assessed, and ongoing projects are supported until completion and claim disbursement. New CRM purchases go through the EDGE Grant.

### How much EDGE support can I get for a CRM?

Enterprise Singapore's CRM activity page lists up to 50% support for SMEs and up to 30% for non-SMEs, on a cost capped at S$5,000. That is a grant of up to S$2,500 for an SME. Only software costs for up to 12 months are supported, and GST and maintenance are excluded.

### Is HubSpot, Zoho CRM or Salesforce covered by EDGE?

We do not state that any product is covered. Supported CRM packages are the pre-approved vendors and solutions listed on IMDA's SMEs Go Digital platform. Check the list yourself and ask the vendor for the package name and reference before you apply.

### What if I need a CRM that also handles inventory or accounting?

EDGE has separate activities for combined systems, such as Sales Management for wholesale and Integrated ERP solutions with at least three functions. Each has its own cost cap. Choose the activity that matches what you are actually buying.

### Can my vendor apply for the grant on my behalf?

No. Enterprise Singapore says third-party companies are not permitted to apply for or manage the grant on behalf of the applicant. Your own staff with the Corppass roles of BGP Preparer and BGP Acceptor submit the application.
