Corporate secretary fees in Singapore are usually a yearly package covering a named company secretary, statutory registers, routine resolutions, AGM paperwork and filing the annual return with ACRA. Published entry plans we checked in October 2026 cost S$300 to S$328 a year, including the S$60 ACRA annual return fee. Fuller plans that cover corporate changes such as new directors, share transfers and dividends cost S$568 to S$600 a year. Extras such as a registered address, a nominee director or a strike-off are priced on top.

This guide shows what providers publish, what changes the price, and how to compare quotes fairly. Prices change, so check each provider's current page before you budget.

## Published fees at a glance

All figures come from providers' own websites in October 2026. They are list prices, not quotes.

| Item | Published price (SGD) | Source and basis |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Entry company secretary plan | 300 a year | One provider's published packages; includes annual return filing with the S$60 government fee and AGM support; GST basis not stated |
| Fuller plan with corporate changes and share management | 600 a year | Same provider |
| Entry company secretary plan | 328 a year | A second provider's published packages; includes the S$60 annual return fee; page states "no GST" |
| Fuller plan with unlimited resolutions | 568 a year | Second provider |
| Corppass account registration | 100 | First provider, add-on |
| Company rubber stamp | 60 | First provider, add-on |
| Strike-off | 400 | First provider, add-on |
| Registered office address | 245 a year | Second provider, add-on |
| Nominee director | On request | Second provider; no price published |
| ACRA annual return | 60 | Government fee, included in both providers' plans |

The second provider also publishes a compliance bundle of S$990 a year that combines company secretary, financial statements and tax filing, for companies that want one firm for both.

## What is usually included

An entry plan generally covers:

- a named, locally resident company secretary on your ACRA record;
- maintaining the registers of members, directors, secretaries and registrable controllers;
- reminders for AGM and annual return deadlines;
- AGM documents, or written resolutions in place of an AGM where the company qualifies;
- filing the annual return.

Fuller plans add corporate changes such as a new company name, registered address, business activity or officers, and share management such as transfers, allotments and dividends.

## What drives corporate secretary fees

### How often your company changes

This is the main factor. A company with the same two shareholders and one director every year fits an entry plan. A company that issues shares to investors, pays dividends or changes directors during the year may be better off on a fuller plan than paying for each change separately.

### Shareholder structure

Corporate shareholders, several classes of shares and employee share schemes add work and push some providers into a higher tier.

### Residency of directors

Every company needs at least one locally resident director. If no founder qualifies, a nominee director is usually the largest extra cost, and it is rarely priced on a public page. Expect terms such as a deposit and an indemnity.

### Registered address

If you have no suitable Singapore address that meets ACRA's rules, a provider's address service adds a yearly fee.

### Bundling

Some firms price secretarial work lower when you also buy accounting and tax filing from them. Compare the bundle against separate providers on a twelve-month total.

## Hidden and ongoing costs

- **Renewal price.** Ask what year two costs. One provider we checked states that its fee is held at renewal; not all do.
- **Ad hoc corporate actions.** Complex structural changes are often quoted per matter.
- **Government fees outside the annual return.** ACRA charges its own fees for some filings, separate from the provider's charge.
- **Exit fees.** Ask whether there is a charge to hand over registers and resign as secretary if you move.
- **Penalties.** ACRA lists late filing penalties for annual returns of S$300 up to three months after the deadline and S$600 after that. The company and its directors remain responsible, so check how the provider tracks deadlines.
- **GST.** One provider states no GST on its prices; another does not say. Confirm before comparing.

## Two worked examples

These use only the two providers' published prices above, before any GST, and are illustrations rather than quotes.

### A simple company with no changes in the year

Two local shareholders, one local director, ordinary shares only, no changes expected. An entry plan covers the year: S$300 at the first provider or S$328 at the second, each including the S$60 annual return fee. If the company also needs a registered address, the second provider adds S$245, for S$573 in total.

### A growing company raising money

A company that expects to issue new shares to an investor, appoint a new director and declare a dividend in the same year would need several corporate changes. Both providers' fuller plans, at S$600 and S$568 a year, are designed for this. On an entry plan, each of those changes could be charged separately, so ask for the per-event prices before you choose the cheaper plan.

## When a fuller plan makes sense

A simple rule of thumb: list the corporate events you expect in the next twelve months, ask each provider to price them on its entry plan, and compare that total with its fuller plan. Companies planning a fundraise, an employee share scheme or regular dividends usually find the fuller plan cheaper over the year. Companies with a stable structure rarely need it.

## How to get comparable quotes

Send every provider the same brief:

1. Whether the company is already incorporated, and its financial year end.
2. The number of shareholders and directors, and whether any shareholder is a company.
3. Whether any director is locally resident.
4. The share classes in issue, and any plans to issue shares, transfer shares or pay dividends in the next year.
5. Whether you need a registered address.
6. Whether you also want accounting and tax filing.

Ask for an itemised quote showing the yearly fee, what it covers, the renewal price, ad hoc charges for likely events, and whether ACRA fees and GST are included. Then add up a likely twelve months for your company, including any events you expect.

Before you sign, check that the firm is registered with ACRA as a corporate service provider. ACRA says you can search for this on Bizfile. Ask who your named secretary will be.

## Grants

Corporate secretarial services are a compliance cost and are not normally covered by Enterprise Singapore grants. We have left out grant information for that reason.

## Frequently asked questions

### What is the cheapest company secretary service in Singapore?

Entry plans we checked in October 2026 start at S$300 to S$328 a year and include annual return filing with the S$60 ACRA fee. They usually cover routine compliance only. Changes of directors, share transfers and dividends may need a higher plan or ad hoc fees, so check what your company is likely to need in the year.

### Are ACRA fees included in the secretarial fee?

Some providers include the S$60 annual return fee in their yearly plan and say so on their pricing page. Others pass government fees through separately. Ask each provider to state this in writing.

### What costs extra beyond the annual package?

Common extras include a registered office address, a nominee director, Corppass registration, a company stamp, complex share changes and strike-off. One provider lists Corppass registration at S$100 and strike-off at S$400, and another lists a registered address at S$245 a year.

### Can I be my own company secretary?

ACRA's guidance says the secretary must meet local residency rules and cannot be the same person as the sole director. A company with two or more directors can appoint one of them if that person qualifies. Many small companies still use a provider so deadlines and records are handled.
